How to Make a Coconut Margarita

Coconut Margarita

My sister recently came to visit me and I knew I had to kick off her stay with these delicious coconut margaritas! They are absolutely delicious, creamy and one of my top 5 favorite cocktails to make. They became one of my sisters all time favorites as a matter of fact.

If you like coconut and tequila you have to try this! I rim the glass using honey and dip it in coconut flakes then make the margaritas using good coconut cream, my favorite silver tequila (Lalo), Cointreau, and good pineapple juice.

I love making these when I have friends or family over. You can make these for your next get together, game night, cinco de mayo party. You name it! It’s good to make anytime and your friends and taste buds will be thanking you.

# Tips

When it comes to making a delicious cocktail try to use the best ingredients! I love using Coco Lopez coconut cream over the stuff you get in a white bottle. It tastes 100% times better. I also love using Trader Joe’s pineapple juice but Dole pineapple juice works great too.

To help the coconut flakes stick to the rim I love using honey. If you don’t like or have coconut flakes you can use cinnamon sugar instead.

This cocktail tastes like a vacay in a glass! I love making these on hot summer days or when I’m relaxing by the pool. Check out my other yummy cocktails!
