Ingredients

  • Ready to heat Wings I like to use Foster Farms Crispy Take out Wings (24wings)
  • 1 lb tomatillos husk removed and washed
  • 3 Serranos
  • 1 Jalapeno
  • ½ onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 1 tsp of chicken bullion
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Bake or air fry your wings according to the package. (Air fry for extra crispness!)
  • Rinse your tomatillos, serranos and jalapeno and place them in a small pot with enough water to cover them. Let them cook on medium-high heat. Keep your eye on them once they start to boil. They’ll be ready when they go from a bright green color to an off green-yellowish color. About 8-10mins. Remove from heat.
  • To a blender add onion, garlic, cilantro, chicken bullion, salt, ¼ cup of water, cooked tomatillos, jalapeno and serranos and blend for about a minute or until smooth. Taste and add salt if needed.
  • In a large bowl add your cooked wings and add as much of the salsa verde as you want. Give it a good toss and it's ready to serve!
