Ingredients

  • 1/2 of a Ripe Medium Watermelon chopped
  • 4 cups Water
  • The juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 bunch of Mint for garnish and place some in pitcher (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of simple syrup more or less depending on how sweet your watermelon is

Instructions

  • Fill a large pitcher with ice and set aside. Add watermelon to a blender and blend until smooth. About 2 minutes or so.
  • Add the water in and blend again for 4 minutes.
  • Using a large pitcher and a fine strainer, pour the watermelon mixture through the strainer that’s over the pitcher to catch the watermelon juice. Use a spoon to help the process go faster by moving the watermelon pulp around and allowing the juices to go through the strainer. Discard the watermelon pulp.
  • Add the juice of 1 lime and simple syrup and give it a stir. Taste and make any adjustments with the simple syrup and water if needed.
  • Lastly add some mint in the pitcher, giving it one last stir and it’s ready to serve!
  • Serve over ice and garnish with mint if you’d like.
